Every tuesday and thursday is(are) a different song(s) and I give a reason to my new songs. Music brings an emotion to me that nothing else can, so that is why I write about it.

Return to Sender by Elvis Presley
I know this song is from "Girls, Girls, Girls" which is an Elvis move (one I have not seen), but the more I listen to it I find there to be some sort of message and it's not just for the enjoyment, which is basically what most or all of Elvis's songs were for.
The message that I get from it is actually from every man who has made their girlfriends mad and then they try to say sorry over and over again, but the girl doesn't want to forgive them.
The message is basic, but not all songs have messages and not all messages are deep and physiological.

Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley
Today's song is Love Me Tender by the king of rock 'n roll, Elvis Presley. When Elvis was 21, he got to be in his first movie that was of the same title and he got to sing America's favorite love song. Love Me Tender gives me chills up and down my spine when I hear it because I've seen the movie about a dozen times and it just makes me sad that he didn't live longer than he had, but if he had, he wouldn't have been as big as he is today.
Although people think that he's the king of rock, which I'm not saying he's not, I'm just saying that Sam Phillips the one who found Elvis and all of the Sun Records artists, and signed them all. No one gives him credit for any artists fame, because if he didn't find them, they wouldn't have been known by the world.
I have loved Elvis Presley for all my life. When I hear this song, I will start crying because that is the effect it has on me. This song is so emotionally powerful that it has that effect on some people.

King Without a Castle by Chris Isaak
Today's song is King Without a Castle by Chris Isaak. This is another one of my favorite love songs, one thing about me is that I'm a hopeless romantic. I love love stories, songs, and anything that has to do with love.
King Without a Castle, to me, means that the person couldn't live with his significant other, like a king can't live without his castle.
Chris Isaak was my first concert. When I saw him, it was when he was Grass Valley.
I love this, because it sounds like something that Elvis could have done, even though he didn't.
Chris Isaak, as an artist, is very influenced by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash...etc...

All Shook Up by Elvis Presley
Today's song is All Shook Up by Elvis Presley. I like this song, just because I do. I know that is not an explanation, but it makes me feel happy inside and makes me feel like dancing. Other than that explanation, I don't know what else to say.
It puts a smile on my face and I can feel like there's nothing else in the world.

Machine Gun Blues by Social Distortion
Today's song is Machine Gun Blues by Social Distortion. I love this song because it is about gangsters in the thirties, before I can continue I just have to say that it's the time period I like and not the gangster aspect, although it is fascinating to me the stories of the first mob men.
This video is totally awesome because of the fact that it feels like your watching a movie and not a music video.
This band is also one of my favorite bands, because as a teenager, my dad was a fan, so I was listening to them as a baby. You are probably going to her about a lot of songs from them.

Cryin' by Vixen
Today's song is Cryin' by Vixen. This is a song that is sung by an all girl 80's glam rock band. It is a perfect getting-over-a-breakup song, but of course I've never used it for that. I use it for when I'm sad and just need a pick me up, it's good for that and it makes you feel better about yourself.
