There are multiple songs that I would like to address in this post:
First, is the song Secret by The Pierces. This is creepy song. This song makes me not want to tell someone's secret ever (although I would never do that), it's one of those songs that gives you a chill, but then this is the day before Halloween, so everything is creepy and chilly around this time of year.
I actually didn't know this, but apparently it's the Pretty Little Liars theme song and I don't watch the show, so of course I wouldn't know it.
Second, is the song Sticks and Stones which is also by The Pierces. This song isn't that creepy although it still is, but the video is creepy and a little freaky. The video is just weird and in it's weirdness, it's freaky, well at the end of the video it gets freaky.
Third and fourth, are the songs are Return of the Loving Dead and Nice Day for a Resurrection by the Nekromantix. Return of the Loving Dead is a sweet (to me) twist on "night of the living dead" which is commonly used for zombies. This song, if played by some guy I liked, would probably melt my heart. This song is about a guy who loves a dead girl. As I said in an earlier post, they do "dead" love songs.
Nice Day for a Resurrection is just... well, there isn't any way for me to explain it other than: I just love it. This song is about a zombie "waking" up.
Fifth and Sixth (Final), are the songs Walk Like a Zombie by the Horrorpops and Trick or Treat by the Nekromantix. Walk Like a Zombie is just like Night of the Living Dead, except its about a woman who is married or wants to marry a zombie or somebody who wants to be undead and what they are going to do as a couple.
Trick or Treat is the finale song, because it is the perfect Halloween song.
Every tuesday and thursday is(are) a different song(s) and I give a reason to my new songs. Music brings an emotion to me that nothing else can, so that is why I write about it.

It's My Life by No Doubt
I'm on a No Doubt kick right now. This song is a song I love, because I found the video awesome and then I kept watching the video and by the second or third time of watching it, I started singing along, then I couldn't get it out of my head.
My perception of what the video is about, is that it's about a woman who is fed up with the ordinary every day life and becomes a black widow and murders three men. This is my perception on the video, not the song itself, although the song can be just like the video, it's possible.

Just A Girl by No Doubt
So, this isn't a halloween oriented song, I just can't do three more posts about Halloween type songs. I will do one the day before Halloween however.
This song is one of those songs that is stuck in my head and I can't get it out, but it's one of those good songs that get stuck in your (my) head.
Just A Girl is one of those girl power songs and I love it for that. It is kind of a stand for girls, because it's not cool when we (girls) can't do what they want just because of their gender. That doesn't happen very often now a days, but just 50 years ago, girls did not have the equal rights they do now.
When I was younger, I used to love No Doubt and then something happened and I didn't listen to them until a few years ago. I love No Doubt, because they are all over the place with their songs' genres, they are not confined to just one genre.

Where You Can't Follow by the Horrorpops
This song is a total break up song. This song is one of those songs that you know if you play (probably not play though) or quote when you're breaking up with someone, then they know that there is no way that the relationship is going to picked up in the future (it's dead and buried).
This is not a Halloween oriented song, I know, but I am going to save them more for when it gets closer to Halloween.
I like this song because I like the band, but even if you don't like the band, but you are a car fanatic, I can almost guarantee that you will like the video.

Subcultural Girl by the Nekromantix
I am choosing to do songs from the Nekromantix and the Horrorpops this month because October is supposed to be kind of Halloween-like, because Halloween is at the end of this month. I chose these bands because they are phsycobilly, and even though that doesn't mean much, the fact that every song of theirs has the subjects of death, zombies or loving the dead in almost every single song of theirs.
This song isn't a song about any of the previous song subjects I just mentioned, but it is one of my favorite song of theirs. It's a love song about a guy who loves a girl who wears rockabilly pinup as a style for both her clothes and hair and she's tough and where she likes to hang out with him is the graveyard. This song is about a girl who is subcultural.
When I saw them in concert in Sacramento, this is the last song they played and it only left every one wanting more, but they didn't do an encore. The bands before them probably took up more time than was given to them, making the Nekromantix have less time, but there's nothing anyone can do about it and it was an awesome show besides that. I'm happy that I got to see one of my favorite bands in Sacramento.

Ghoulina by the Nekromantix
Ghoulina may seem to others as an odd song, but to me it is a sweet love song. It's a song about a guy falling in love with a ghoul and he loves her, but everyone else thinks she's disgusting and he basically says that she's all he needs and she doesn't need to worry about what any other person says. This song is of course not actually about a real experience that the singer, Kim Nekroman, had.
The Nekromantix will write love songs, they have a few that are sweet, but they add a deadly aspect to it, because they're are a phsycobilly punk rock band. I watched an interview that was with Kim Nekroman from 2009 and he said that he writes love songs, he just has to make it about ghouls and/or zombies.
I actually saw the Nekromantix in July and it was such an experience. They were the loudest band I have ever seen, but I have only seen two other bands, so that's not saying much, but my dad has seen a lot of bands and he says that they were the one of the loudest bands that he has ever seen. My ears were ringing for a couple of days after that.
The Nekromantix and the Horrorpops (Kim Nekroman's other band) are one of my many favorite bands.
