Hurt by Johnny Cash

This is one of the songs that he recorded before he died. This song was originally written by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. I've heard that version before, but I didn't like it as much as this version for a couple of reasons (it's not because I don't like NIN, I've actually haven't heard NIN enough to form an opinion).
One: I can't hear the song, it's way too quiet.
Two: Johnny Cash's voice is just so powerful to me, influentially as well as vocally.
This song is such a sad song, every time I hear it I almost want to start crying, because of the fact that he has that influence for me with every one of his songs, only I don't want to cry when I hear his songs, they are just emotionally influential. This song, because of the fact that it was put out before he died, makes me sad because he is dead, but not only because of that, but because I like to listen to it when I'm sad.
I think I remember watching a TV special on his life with my father after he had died. His wife, June Carter, had died only four months before he did, so I guess, in a way, it's nice that they didn't have to spend a long time apart from each other.

Not Meant For Me by Jonathan Davis

This song is once again part of the Queen of the Damned soundtrack.
The video is from the concert part of the movie.

Forsaken by Jonathan Davis (Korn) and David Draiman (Disturbed)

This song was written for the movie, Queen of the Damned, by Jonathan Davis, the singer for Korn. In the movie, Jonathan supplied the singing voice for the main character, the vampire, Lestat, but because of contract conflicts, he couldn't record the songs from the movie on the soundtrack. Instead, he brought his friends from other bands to record them for him.
In the movie, the 'video' for this song is what you see after Lestat meets the band and then you see a press conference with the band immediately afterward. In the movie, they spectulate that Lestat is revealing old vampire secrets through the lyrics of his music.
I love this movie, I have seen it six times and it's a good movie. I don't normally love vampires, I stopped loving them after they became sparkly, but I love these vampires.
If you haven't watched this movie, I recommend you do.

I am going to put up two versions of the videos for the song:
The first is the video from the movie, the one with Jonathan Davis

The second is a mash up of scenes from the movie, but this one is with the person who did it on the soundtrack, David Draiman from the band, Disturbed

Dani California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers

I heard this song when I was watching a rerun of an older SNL from 2006 when they were music guests on the show. At the time, I didn't know the name of the song, but I had it stuck in my head, I didn't have it in the RCHP songs that were on my family's iTunes.
I found it maybe three months later when I set up a pandora station for another band and it played.
I then looked it up and saw the music video for it. I watched it and I loved it because of the fact that it goes through music history with the costumes and the stages.

Love Song by Tesla

Tesla is a Sacramento "Hair Metal" band who got their name from Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American scientist from the late 1800's early 1900's. This band was one of the bands that I found a few years ago and have been  obsessed with ever since. Of course, they weren't started a few years ago, my dad just introduced them to me a few years ago.
When he introduced them to me, I found cool that they were from Sacramento, you don't really see famous bands from that era coming to fame, at least I don't, but then again that was before my time and maybe there were a couple of more bands like that.
This video is shot in Sacramento at Cal Expo, this is before Cal Expo banned live music because it disturbed the local residents.
If only I was born maybe 20 years earlier then I would have a chance to see them in Sacramento, when they were more known, I would have been a kid, but I would have thought it was.

Te Aviso, Te Anuncio by Shakira or Objection by Shakira

I first heard this song in Spanish 2 class and haven't been able to get it out of my head. I, personally, like the Spanish version better, even though I can't understand most of the words. The English version is good, but it just seems... minimal... to the Spanish version, even though I can sing along to it.
I am going to post both versions, so you can decide which one you prefer.
