Every tuesday and thursday is(are) a different song(s) and I give a reason to my new songs. Music brings an emotion to me that nothing else can, so that is why I write about it.

Stuck On Glue by Sugarland
This is starting to become a song that I can't get out of my head. A couple of years ago, my school made me us do this as the curtain call for the talent show, but I became sick that day so I was never able to help them with that, but at the time this song was super sugary and I couldn't stand it. Then it was performed on the first season of The Voice and I still couldn't stand it.
I think it's ironic how I am now blogging this song, but I guess my tastes have changed a little. I still think this song is sugary.
This video is so very creepy though.

Runaway by Go Betty Go
I love this song. I just love it.... I don't know, I just love songs that are from girl punk rockish bands. Maybe it's because I am a girl and I feel a lot closer? Then that would mean that I like all girl bands better than all guy bands, but that's definitely not true, I like them equally.
I first heard this song while listening to my Horrorpops pandora radio station 1 or 2 years ago and I was so obsessed with this song for a while, but I never got the song on iTunes, I would just re watch the video over and over again. Then it stopped playing on the radio station and I kind of forgot about it until last Monday, when I heard it again on my way home. This time I got it on iTunes and now I listen to it constantly.

You're Beautiful by James Blunt
I love this song because everyone needs to hear this song when they're feeling down. When I first heard this song, I was having a bad day and when I heard it, it made me smile. Everyone needs to hear that they are beautiful, no matter what. It will make a person smile, it will make their bad days into good days.

Bad Things by Jace Everett
This is the theme song for True Blood. I like it just because it's a good song.
I'm sorry that this post is so short.

Twist and Shout by The Beatles
I love this movie and especially this part of the movie and that is why I'm posting about it. Twist and Shout is probably one of my favorite Beatles songs because of the fact that I first saw it in Ferris Buller's Day Off. It's one of their faster songs too, which means that it is from their earlier releases and not from the hallucinogenic point in their music career.
I only like a few Beatles songs, this song being one of them.

Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
Today I am posting this song... Normally I wouldn't post anything like this, but I am tonight. I will explain myself... This past weekend, I went to see The Host and this song was in the credits and in the trailer for the movie.
The very first time I heard this song was when my brother showed it to me. I was not into it, but then I started seeing the previews for The Host and it was engraved into my brain as the song for the movie. Then it appeared on my pandora and I now listen to it sometimes.
I loved watching the movie, so if any of you get the chance to see it, I urge you to try to go.

Wicked Game by Chris Isaak
This is one of the first Chris Isaak songs that I heard when I was about five. It's my mom's favorite Chris Isaak song, so of course when she introduced me to him, she would introduce this song first.
Apparently this is one of the songs that he plays every time he tours. He played this song when I saw him Grass Valley on April 26, 2012.
I like Chris Isaak, even though he is older, because he is so musically diverse. He can play a song like this and also play something from the Sun Records songs.
This video is kind of risque, but nothing really is shown.
I am going to also put a cover of the song up to show the contrast.
