Orianthi is an Australian-American guitarist that really made her fame when she was scheduled as Michael Jackson's guitarist in his tour that he never got to do, but that's not the only reason why she's famous, she did a lot of interviews for guitar magazines, and became a singer, afterward.
I remember looking over my dad's shoulder and seeing ads and interviews with her in his magazines, but I had no comment, I honestly didn't know what to say, because I didn't really know who she was.
When this song came up on Pandora, I was about to skip it, when it wouldn't let me, so I just listened to it and I ended up thumbs upping it.
I like this song because it's one of those empowerment songs that just makes you (or the listener) feel like you don't need people who put you down, because you are ultimately lovely the way you are and maybe someone doesn't see it, well that's just because that person has insecurities of his/her own and doesn't want to face them, so they project it onto you. In a relationship, people need that other person to be complementing not someone who's projecting their own insecurities. Sometimes, I listen to this because I need that reassurance from something other than my friends and family.
