I kept doing medleys or combinations of songs because I have a hard time deciding on what song truly speaks to me at the time when I sit to do the blog. I end up sitting at the computer (or phone), trying to figure out what to write about, but one song doesn't just pop into my head, multiple songs do, then I have no idea of what I will do, so I do medleys or combinations of songs.
Now that I have had my string of random thoughts, I can get to the songs.
The first song that I want to do is, Sorrow by Bad Religion. I like this song because I like the style of the song, but really, the style of the band. They have a diverse style of music, in my opinion, they can have a heavier song, then a totally mellower song, like this one. I think that also depends on the album its on and when it came out.
The second song is Here Comes Your Man by Pixies. I believe this was the first Pixies song that I ever liked. When I was younger, this was my favorite Pixies song, along with Wave of Mutilation.
The third song is Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble. I just heard this song a few days ago and it was one of those songs that I wasn't sure about until I heard it again, but I am coming to find that I enjoy some of his songs because of who he's inspired by and the fact that you can hear that in his music.
The fourth song is Far Behind by Social Distortion. This song is perfect when I am mad and over a friend who just keeps acting as if they are my enemy versus what they actually are.
